About Me

Researching the energy transition. Shaping the policy. Making room for the generation inheriting both.

Eirini is an interdisciplinary energy policy researcher at Imperial College London's Centre for Environmental Policy, where her PhD examines the UK's heat transition. A former Blue Book Trainee at the European Commission's DG Energy, she works at the nexus of policy, research and implementation — and is a leading advocate for youth participation in energy and climate decision-making, having supported youth organisations across Greece and Europe.

I collaborate with universities, institutions and organisations across four areas: research on energy policy and the heat transition; green skills and the workforce the transition will need; education and capacity building, from curriculum design to policy simulations; and youth engagement — bringing young people meaningfully into policy, diplomacy and energy decision-making, not just into the room.
