Youth & Participation
I was 20 when I started working in the youth climate space. I started a digital platform to make the sustainability discourse more accessible to all while amplifying the voices of the youth. We reached over 100,000 readers globally, published over 350 articles, translated more than 100 of those into at least three languages, and built meaningful partnerships and projects with other youth organisations in the space.
Five years on, the mission hasn't changed — but its scale has: from a student platform built back in Athens, to capacity-building programmes spanning thirteen economies with YCDF, partnerships with international organisations, and youth advocacy carried into the rooms of European and international climate diplomacy.
My work is now focused on preparing young people with the skills these grand challenges demand — and on breaking the silos around youth engagement: building dialogue and partnerships so that participation is meaningful, not tokenistic. It spans every scale at which the transition happens, from international diplomacy to local action and communities.
What I do
Advocacy
Making the case — to ministries, international organisations and institutions — that young people belong in energy and climate decision-making, and shaping the frameworks that get them there.
Skills & Capacity Building
Green skills. The transition needs a workforce and a generation that can build it. I lead projects that equip young people with practical, future-facing skills — most recently the Sustainable Futures Toolkit.
Organising & Scaling
Some of my most important work is the least visible: helping youth organisations set up, structure, scale and sustain themselves — building the internal systems, strategies and skills that turn passionate volunteers into effective institutions.
